AirSial Plans to Increase the Number of Its Overseas Flights

According to the reports, Pakistan’s third private airline, AirSial, planned to expand its foreign flight operations on Friday.

Details indicate that AirSial will be able to increase the number of flights it operates by acquiring five modern planes. According to the sources, the administration is currently in communication with the aviation industry on the purchase of new aircraft.

After purchasing five new aircraft, the management is probably going to hire more pilots, cabin crew, and other employees.

Permission to operate international flights on seven routes—China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkiye, United Kingdom, and Kuwait—was granted to the airline founded by the business community of Sialkot on December 9, 2020.

According to information, the first AirSial chartered flight, carrying 162 passengers, departed for Dubai from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

At the airport, there was a cake-cutting ceremony conducted prior to the flight’s departure.

AirSial began offering domestic flight services on December 25, 2020, between Karachi and Islamabad, utilizing an Airbus A320-200.

Three Airbus A320-200 aircraft were used in the airline’s initial fleet when it started operations. The members of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry created Air Sial, an authorized airline.

To broaden its network of foreign flight operations, the company has declared its intention to lease five additional aircraft.

AirSial has been granted authorization by the federal cabinet to conduct flights on seven new foreign destinations.

According to sources, the Cabinet meeting on April 30 authorized AirSial to begin flying operations in China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait.

In accordance with the Air Service Agreement 2023, AirSial was approved.

To buy new aircraft, management is in contact with a number of aviation firms.

Pilots, cabin staff, and other new hires will be needed by AirSial as it expands its fleet with five new aircraft
