A student from Lahore, Anthony Shaukat, was killed in Portugal while working on a cancer research project. He was robbed of his mobile phone, cash, and laptop. It is reported that Anthony had previously obtained a master’s degree from Sweden and a PhD degree from Germany.
The family has appealed to the Pakistani government for justice and the repatriation of the body.
