Daman-e-Koh
Daman-e-Koh, a lovely recreation area in Islamabad, is a popular destination for tourists, especially those from abroad. During the holy month of Ramadan, Sarfraz Ahmed, a resident of G-10, visited with his family and said that the view of Islamabad from Daman-e-Koh makes their visit lovely and pleasurable.
He went on to say that Daman-e-Koh, Margalla Hills’ serene and natural environment makes for an enjoyable and exciting weekend. “It’s a great spot to spend time with families, as the fresh air and natural surroundings fill my lungs with a constant cool breeze.”
Lahore resident Huma Ali Malik reported that people are taking in the fresh air and verdant mountains while appreciating nature. She mentioned that a lot of people come here during the holy month of Ramadan in order to fill their weekend with excitement. In order to facilitate the tourists, she encouraged the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to make the necessary procedures to guarantee cleanliness and security.
She also mentioned that there is a car space available near the Northern Spot, where visitors may find a cafe and a few tiny tuck shops. Huma Ali added that the CDA ought to build a mosque at Daman-e-Koh so that prayers could be offered there five times a day.
It is important to note that Damane-Koh, or “in the lap of the mountain,” is a location in the lush green hills of Margalla that is approximately 3000 feet above sea level and 1000 feet from the federal capital. Both the natural and man-made beauty of this place captivate the hearts and minds of all who visit.
