Mishaal Pakistan releases Pakistan Reforms Report 2025, stating that Pakistan is undergoing an unprecedented transformation process.
Mishaal Pakistan, the country partner of the World Economic Forum’s ‘Economic and Societies Platform’, has officially launched the Pakistan Reforms Report 2025
which is considered the first report of its kind to document more than 120 key reforms implemented by the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif government since it took office in March 2024.
The report provides a comprehensive analysis of the period from January 2024 to the end of January 2025 and presents changes in policy and governance with data-based details.
This is the first time that the government’s reform agenda in Pakistan has been systematically documented.
In the past 11 months, more than 120 reforms have been implemented in various areas, including governance, economic policy, legal framework and institutional performance.
According to the Mashal Pakistan report, Pakistan is undergoing an unprecedented transformation process and more than 100 reforms have been implemented in just 12 months.
The report aims to document the government’s reform progress in a systematic manner. The report states that the reforms are unprecedented in terms of pace and scope.
Mashal Pakistan says that it is also aimed at providing a comprehensive and detailed record to future researchers and analysts.
The report, calling transparency important in the rapidly changing landscape of policy-making, said that access to information related to reforms is also crucial for promoting informed decision-making and only by doing so can the participation of stakeholders be ensured.
The Mashal Pakistan report said that only transparency can be used to formulate effective strategies for future governance.
