Police Officer Killed In Ambush On Patrol In Panjgur

Quetta: A sub-inspector was martyred in an attack by armed men on a police patrol in Panjgur.

According to officials, armed men suddenly opened fire on a police patrol in the Chetkan Bazar area of ​​Panjgur on Sunday night.

A police officer was martyred in the incident, identified as Sub-Inspector Shakeel Ahmed.

As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and the body of the martyred officer was shifted to the hospital, while the relevant agencies collected the evidence from the attack site and started the investigation.

On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the incident of firing on the police mobile in Panjgur and paid tribute to the martyred Sub-Inspector Shakeel Ahmed.

Expressing heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the family of the martyr, he said that Sub-Inspector Shakeel Ahmed was martyred while performing his duties.
