11 Pilgrims Die After Bus Plunges Into Ditch On Makran Coastal Highway

11 people were killed when a bus of pilgrims coming from Iran fell into a ditch on the Makran Coastal Highway at Bazi Lak.

According to Edhi sources, 23 people were also injured in the accident and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

The pilgrims’ bus was coming from Iran when it fell into a ditch due to brake failure at Bazi Lak.

The rescue teams reached the spot and took out the dead and injured from the bus. The deceased are said to be from Lahore and Gujranwala.

It should be noted that a few days ago a bus of Pakistani pilgrims met with an accident in Iran in which 35 people were killed and 15 injured.

The pilgrims belonged to the city of Larkana in Sindh.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of pilgrims after the bus fell into the ditch near Lasbela and expressed sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
