Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi took notice of complaints of overbilling to protected customers and ordered action against overbilling officers and staff.
In this regard, the Home Minister issued orders to all the directors of FIA and said that the injustice done to the electricity consumers using 200 units should be remedied.
Mohsin Naqvi said that including protected users in a non-protected category is a criminal act, it will not be allowed, FIA should review all the situations and take action against those responsible without discrimination.
The Home Minister said that the protected customers are already suffering, due to over-billing, additional burden of crores of rupees has been imposed on the customers.
