Balochistan’s budget of 800 billion rupees for the next financial year is likely to be presented tomorrow, and health and education have been given priority in the budget.
The budget of Balochistan for the next fiscal year 2024-25 is likely to be presented on June 21, the provincial finance minister Mir Shoaib Nooshirani will present the budget.
According to sources in the Finance Department, the total volume of the next financial year’s budget will be more than 850 billion, in which the salaries of government employees will be increased by 25%, health and education sectors will be given priority during the next financial year.
In the provincial budget, 67 billion rupees have been allocated for health, while compared to the previous budget, the education budget will be increased by 25 percent, and 2 billion rupees will be allocated for the Benazir Scholarship in the budget.
The grant of universities will be increased from 2.5 billion to 5 billion rupees, while the supplementary budget for the current financial year will also be presented in the session. After discussion by the members, the budget will be approved.
