Friday, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) announced summer holidays in all private and public Islamabad schools.
According to the statement, summer vacations for all educational institutions within the Islamabad Capital Territory will begin on June 10 and last until July 31.
This notification is as follows: “The competent authority i.e., the Secretary Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is pleased to announce that summer vacation for all the educational institutions working under the FDE shall be from 10-06-2024 to 31-07-2024 and s schools/ colleges will re-opened on 01-08-2024.”
Earlier, the Sindh Education Department also announced summer vacations in totally private and public sector schools and colleges.
Vocalizing the notification it has announced that summer vacations for all educational public and private institutions of Sindh will be from June one to July, thirty-one.
Earlier the Punjab government announce summer vacations for all the schools, government as well as private for the months of May and June because of extreme heat.
The schools affected include all government and private schools all over Punjab and the closure is supposed to start on 25th of May and end on 15th of August.
