Due to the fear of a heatwave in Karachi, the ninth and tenth standard exams under the Board of Secondary Education Karachi have been postponed. The intermediate exams will also start on May 27 instead of May 22. The Secondary Education Board Karachi issued a notification regarding this change.
According to the notification, there will be no matriculation board papers between May 21 and 27, and the matriculation paper on May 28 will be conducted as scheduled. The postponed class 9th and 10th papers will have their new dates announced later. It’s important to note that the intermediate exams were also postponed due to the heat waves. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah approved the postponement of the intermediate exams on the recommendation of the Minister of Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ali Malkani. Following the Chief Minister’s instructions, Universities and Boards issued a notification to change the exam dates. Consequently, the Inter exams will now start on May 27 instead of May 22.
