Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has removed Sher Afzal Marwat from his role as the focal person and instructed him to disband his social media team. This decision was reportedly made based on the recommendations of the core committee. Imran Khan has also removed Sher Afzal Marwat and Umeer Niazi from the list of visitors at Adiala Jail, which includes Umar Ayub, Senator Shibli Faraz, Ali Zafar, and Barrister Gohar. During the last committee meeting, Sher Afzal Marwat and Umeer Niazi were heavily criticized for not properly conveying Imran Khan’s message to the party. The party leaders were concerned that these two leaders were appointed as focal persons to meet Imran Khan without the Core Committee’s consent. According to sources, Imran Khan visited Adiala Jail on Tuesday and instructed Barrister Gohar to ask Sher Afzal Marwat to shut down his social media team and rely only on PTI’s official social media platform. He has also directed the focal persons to send names of political persons only on Thursdays
