Pakistan, Malaysia Sign Six Major Agreements to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

PUTRAJAYA Pakistan and Malaysia took a significant step toward strengthening their long- standing relationship on Monday by subscribing six corner agreements covering different areas similar as education, Halal instrument, tourism,anti-corruption, and small and medium enterprises( SMEs). The signing form took place at the Perdana Putra Complex — the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Office — during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s three- day sanctioned visit to Malaysia at the assignation of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

The documents were changed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Malaysian Foreign Minister Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan.

Education remained a central focus of the conversations, with both countries emphasizing the significance of expanding academic liaison and exploration collaboration. A separate scowl on advanced education cooperation was inked by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir. The agreement seeks to encourage pupil and faculty exchanges, common degree programs, and literacy for Pakistani scholars in Malaysian universities, contributing to a more encyclopedically connected educational frame.

Tourism development also entered a major boost as an scowl was inked between Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism. The agreement, changed by Tourism Minister Tiong King Sing and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, aims to enhance collective tourism creation, grease artistic exchange programs, and encourage investments in the hospitality sector.
