Pakistani Students Make History at World Scholar’s Cup

Lahore – Pakistani students achieved a remarkable success for the first time in the global round of the global educational competition World Scholar’s ​​Cup, securing third position.

More than 1,700 participants from more than 50 countries around the world participated in this international educational event held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from June 11 to 17, 2025. The competitions included quizzes, debates, written expressions, and other academic activities.

Pakistan was represented by three brilliant students from Aitchison College in Lahore, Ibrahim Usman Ajmal, Muhammad Ahmed Zulfiqar, and Hussain Aslam Bhinder, who showed exceptional performance and won 92 medals and 11 trophies.

This is the first time that the Pakistani team has made it to the top three in the global round of the World Scholar’s ​​Cup.

In recognition of the outstanding performance of these students, they have also been invited to participate in the Tournament of Champions to be held at Yale University in the United States this year.

This achievement is not only an individual achievement but also a historic milestone for Pakistan’s education sector.
