US, Pakistan Vow to Boost Bilateral Ties
A telephonic conversation took place between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in which both leaders agreed to strengthen Pak-US relations further and increase trade cooperation.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister praised US President Donald Trump for his decisive role in the ceasefire between Iran and Israel and thanked Secretary of State Rubio for the positive role of the US in the Pak-India tension.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister stated that Pakistan will continue to play a constructive role in promoting peace in the Middle East.
Reacting to this, Marco Rubio said that the US is keen to work with Pakistan for peace and stability in the region.
The two leaders also agreed that bilateral cooperation is indispensable in the context of the current global situation, and cooperation in various sectors will be further expanded in the future.
