RAW Spy Network Busted in Karachi
Four agents working for the Indian intelligence agency “RAW” were arrested in a joint operation by intelligence agencies and the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) in Karachi.
SSP SIU Shoaib Memon told a press conference that the arrested suspects belong to the Sujawal district of Sindh and were in constant contact with Colonel Ranjit of the Indian Army.
According to Shoaib Memon, explosives, weapons, a car, and mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the suspects, which contained photos of sensitive Pakistani military installations, geo-tagged locations, and Indian numbers.
The suspects’ job was to conduct reconnaissance, photography of sensitive installations in Pakistan, and convey this information to the Indian intelligence agency “RAW”.
The SSP added that the investigation of the arrested persons is ongoing and after the revelations, a search is also underway for other possible members of the network.
