Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal visited the under-construction National Police Hospital in Sector H-12, Islamabad.

During the visit, Ahsan Iqbal termed the ongoing progress in the construction of the hospital as encouraging and said that this project is an important milestone for the welfare and health care of police personnel.

He directed the concerned authorities to complete the project by June 2026 at all costs so that the police force can get modern medical facilities in a timely manner.

Ahsan Iqbal said:

“Improving the conditions of law enforcement agencies is the top priority of the government, and the National Police Hospital is a practical manifestation of this commitment.”

The hospital will consist of 100 beds and will provide general medicine, surgery, emergency and emergency treatment facilities.

The Federal Minister reminded that the project was approved in May 2023 and termed its timely completion as a national duty, saying:

“National projects built with taxpayers’ money are our national trust and their responsible completion is the shared responsibility of all of us.”
