17-year-old Tiktoker Sana Yousaf killed in islamabad
A young TikToker, Sana Yousaf, hailing from Chitral, was shot and killed inside her home in Islamabad’s G-13 sector on Monday evening. According to Islamabad Police, an unidentified assailant entered her residence and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
The police spokesperson confirmed the incident to Urdu News, stating that the crime occurred within the jurisdiction of Sumbal Police Station. Upon receiving the report, law enforcement officials arrived at the scene and shifted the body to PIMS Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Initial investigations suggest that the suspected killer was known to the victim, as he entered the house posing as a guest. A police officer told a private news outlet that the attacker had visited Sana Yousaf’s house before carrying out the fatal shooting.
Station House Officer (SHO) Malik Asif stated that Sana Yousaf was living with her family in Sector G-13. He added that the police have launched a thorough investigation into the case from multiple angles and that an FIR will be registered soon.
Interestingly, a few hours before the incident, Sana Yousaf had uploaded a video from Islamabad on her Instagram account.
Police have assured the public and media that all developments in the investigation will be shared in due course.
