Balochistan Will Never Separate from Pakistan: DG ISPR
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), has stated that Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and can never separate from the country. He emphasized that there is no ideology or vision behind terrorism in the province; rather, it is entirely sponsored by India. He held India responsible for instability in the region and described the terrorist groups as mercenary proxies of Indian interests.
Addressing teachers during the ISPR-organized Hilal Talks 2025 program, the DG ISPR said that misleading propaganda about Balochistan’s separation is false. Balochistan is deeply intertwined with Pakistan’s economy and society. He said the people of Baloch, Sindhi, Pashtun, Punjabi, Kashmiri, and Balti communities are all brothers and sisters united, and no one can divide them.
He pointed out that terrorism in Balochistan lacks any genuine ideology and is instead sponsored by India, which funds, treats, trains, and provides passports to the terrorist leaders, using Afghanistan as a base of operations. These terrorists are the enemies of Balochistan’s development and people. Since the terrorists live among the local population, it is essential for the people of Balochistan to reject them. Development in the province will bring education, jobs, and prosperity, which will be the death of India’s plans.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry urged the people to choose whether to become tools of terrorists or pursue knowledge and technology. He expressed confidence that Balochistan has the potential to become the richest province of Pakistan.
He also mentioned that the proscribed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and other terrorist groups are based in India and act as mercenary proxies, receiving money and support from India. He referred to Dr. Mah-Rang Baloch and questioned who pays for her Norway ticket and rallies, accusing her of being a proxy for terrorists and alleging that she exploits the deaths caused by terrorism for political purposes.
The DG ISPR strongly condemned the BLA attacks, such as the one on Jaffar Express, pointing out that the terrorists kill women and children, and those who politicize their deaths are proxies themselves.
He warned that India has no sympathy for Pakistan or Balochistan and is the eternal enemy of Pakistan. The people of Balochistan must stand united and refuse to be fooled by terrorists.
Regarding Kashmir, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry emphasized that Kashmir will become part of Pakistan without any doubt. He stressed the deep bonds of blood, culture, religion, and brotherhood between Pakistanis and Kashmiris and expressed firm belief in Kashmir’s future as part of Pakistan.
He highlighted that there is no distance between Pakistan’s people and its armed forces; they are one and the same. The Pakistan Army works tirelessly for the welfare of the people, including during COVID-19, polio vaccinations, sanitation, and fighting terrorism.
The DG ISPR criticized Indian strategies and propaganda theories that predicted divisions between Pakistan’s people and military in case of attack. He explained how these assumptions failed as Pakistanis and their armed forces remain united.
He recalled Indian intellectuals’ misguided predictions that no country, including Saudi Arabia or the US, would support Pakistan and that India’s media influence would sway global opinion. He asked rhetorically where those five assumptions are now, stating that they have all been buried.
The program also featured prominent educational figures and journalists who shared their views. The event aimed to raise awareness about anti-state elements on social media and their malicious agendas.
