Islamabad: The moon of Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH was not sighted in any part of Pakistan, after which it has been announced that Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Saturday, June 7, across the country.

Maulana Abdul Khabir said that the meeting of the central committee was held in Islamabad, while the meetings of the zonal committees were held in the provincial capitals.

On this occasion, the zonal committees of Lahore, Karachi, Peshawa,r and Quetta also confirmed that they had not received any evidence of moon sighting.

During the meeting, Fateha was offered for the martyrs of the Pakistan Army, while tributes were also paid to the Pakistan Army and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their courageous leadership on the success of Operation Banyan Al-Marsoos.
