Armed Attack on Safa Quetta Cleaning Team: 12 Injured, 6 in Critical Condition
A violent attack occurred in the busy commercial area of Kandhari Bazaar, Quetta, where unidentified armed individuals targeted the Safa Quetta cleaning team. As a result, 12 workers were injured, with 6 reported in critical condition. The incident was captured on camera and the footage has gone viral.
According to police, the confrontation began the previous night when a dispute over cleanliness between shopkeepers and cleaning staff escalated into a physical clash. The video footage shows the assailants physically assaulting the team members.
The injured personnel were rushed to the Civil Hospital Quetta, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. The City Police Station has registered a case and, in swift action, six suspects have been arrested. Raids are underway to apprehend other individuals involved.
The incident has sparked outrage among civil society, who strongly condemned the assault and demanded strict punishment for the culprits.
