India supports Khawarij and Baloch terrorists: DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army Spokesperson Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has taken a blunt stance on terrorism and false narratives perpetrated by India in an exclusive interview with RT Arabia.

He said that India is behind the wave of terrorism in Pakistan, be it Khawarij or the mischievous groups active in Balochistan.

The DG ISPR said that India is resorting to false and baseless allegations to cover up its terrorist activities in the region.

Citing the example of the Pahalgam incident, he said that immediately after the incident, a campaign was launched on Indian media and social platforms to blame Pakistan, although the Indian Ministry of External Affairs itself admitted that the investigation into the incident was still ongoing.

According to Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, Pakistan had shown responsibility and offered India that if there was any evidence, it should be presented through an impartial body.

But India rejected this logical proposal and took unilateral action and targeting Pakistani mosques with missile attacks in which women, children,n and the elderly were martyred.

He further said that Pakistan responded effectively and promptly after India’s aggression on the night of May 6 and 7, shooting down 5 enemy warplanes.

In response to Indian missile attacks once again on May 9 and 10, Pakistan targeted only military targets with utmost responsibility and did not harm a single civilian.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that India has forgotten that the Pakistani nation and forces never bow down, and cannot be bowed down.

Pakistan is a responsible and peaceful state that does not want war but peace. That is why the Indian Ministry of Defense’s request for a ceasefire was accepted.

DG ISPR praised the performance of Pakistani diplomatic institutions and said that the international community was effectively informed about the situation, which made Pakistan’s position clear.

He said that we are not a violent nation, but a serious and peace-loving nation, and the world’s major powers, such as the United States, understand very well how strong and principled the spirit of the Pakistani people is.
