BLA Attack in Machh: 7 Soldiers Martyred

The Pakistan Army has said that a security forces vehicle was targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Machh area of ​​Kachhi district of Balochistan, as a result of which seven personnel were martyred.

According to the ISPR, this terrorist attack was carried out by the banned organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), which is carrying out operations on behalf of India.

The martyrs include Subedar Umar Farooq (Karachi), Naik Asif Khan (Karak), Naik Mashkoor Ali (Orakzai), Sepoy Tariq Nawaz (Lakki Marwat), Sepoy Wajid Ahmed Faiz (Bagh), Sepoy Muhammad Asim (Karak), and Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan (Kohat).

The military spokesperson said that after the incident, a search and clearance operation is underway in the area to arrest the terrorists involved.

It was also said that the attackers will be brought to justice at all costs.

According to a local senior government official, the targeted vehicle was part of a security convoy that was on its way to an operation. Five people were injured in the attack and were immediately airlifted to Quetta.

The attack took place in an area rich in mineral resources, especially coal mines, and where separatist groups have carried out attacks in the past.

According to AFP, more than 200 people have been killed in terrorist attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since January 1 this year, most of them security personnel.
