Pakistan Successfully Tests Launch Of Short-range Abdali Ballistic Missile
Rawalpindi: Pakistan has successfully conducted a training test of the advanced surface-to-surface missile “Abdali Weapon System”, which has a range of 450 km.
According to the ISPR, the test was part of Exercise “Indus”, which aimed to test the combat readiness of the Pakistan Army, modern navigation systems and the accuracy of the missile on the target.
The test was witnessed by Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Strategic Plans Division, senior military officers, and scientists and engineers from Pakistan’s strategic institutions.
The President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Chiefs of Armed Forces congratulated the scientists, engineers and forces on the successful test and expressed full confidence in the capabilities of the strategic forces.
Officials said that the Abdali Weapon System is a manifestation of Pakistan’s effective defense and protection of national security.
