Quetta Bomb Blast: 4 FC Personnel Martyred, 3 Injured
Four Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were martyred and 3 injured in a bomb blast near a security forces vehicle in Margat, a suburb of Quetta.
According to SHO Hanna Orak, Police Station Naveed Akhtar, the bomb disposal squad of the security forces was targeted by an improvised remote-controlled bomb.
After the explosion, rescue teams immediately shifted the injured to CMH. The martyred personnel include Subedar Shahzad Amin, Naib Subedar Abbas, Sepoy Khali, and Sepoy Zahid, while Lance Naik Zafar, Lance Naik FFarooqoq, and Sepoy Khurram Saleem are among the injured.
Immediately after the explosion, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation, while additional personnel of the bomb disposal squad also reached the spot.

President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the bomb blast that hit a security forces vehicle in Margat, a suburb of Quetta, in which four Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were martyred.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives, the President expressed his condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for their patience.
He paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country and appreciated their services in defending the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari, while reiterating the national resolve against terrorism on this occasion, said that the entire nation salutes its martyrs and appreciates their sacrifices.
He clarified that operations against anti-national elements will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism.
