Exhibition Continued in Islamabad to Mark International Mountain Day

On Monday an Exhibition marked to international mountain day began at at the Serena Hotel and the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA). International Mountain Day, which falls on December 11 every year, a three-day exhibition of photographs and paintings opened at the PNCA.

The 13th edition of the Pakistan Mountain Festival, the yearly flagship event of Devcom-Pakistan.

The exhibition titled “The Colours of the ICE” featured 40 images from the Boltoro cleanup, 12 paintings from Raja Changez Sultan’s Himalayan Odyssey series, some student paintings, and 21 large-sized photos that captured the hues and textures of the northern Pakistani glaciers.

Italian Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ferrarese said mountains played a key role on the planet.

n this International Mountain Film Festival, PIMFF is going to showcase 21 films and hold panel discussions on cinematic journey that transcends borders and elevates the human experience in PNCA on December 16 and 17.
