Quetta: Police Mobile Fired Upon, 3 Personnel Martyred
Unidentified persons fired on a police mobile on Mastung Road in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, resulting in the martyrdom of 3 police personnel, while one officer was also injured.
According to the police, the incident occurred within New Sariab’s limits. On the other hand, the Balochistan government spokesperson strongly condemned the incident and said that reports of the martyrdom of three police personnel have been received as a result of the firing.
The government says that security forces have surrounded the area and the investigation is underway.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that anti-social elements will be brought to justice and the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain.
He added that any attempt to sabotage peace in Balochistan will be foiled.
The local administration is investigating the matter so that the criminals can be arrested soon and the law and order situation can be maintained.
