Operation Swift Retort: 6 Years of Victory
February 27, 2019, became a symbol of Pakistan’s victory and defense power.
A day earlier, on February 26, India claimed a surgical strike, to which the Pakistan Air Force responded forcefully and effectively through Operation Swift Retort.

Citizens of Azad Kashmir say that February 27 was the day of Pakistan’s great victory. A citizen said, “The Pakistani forces gave a clear message to the world that we are fully capable of defending our homeland.”
Describing the Pakistan Army and Air Force as the bravest forces in the world, the Kashmiri people said that we stand by our army and if India does such a thing again, it will be given a strong response.
Indian pilot’s arrest – eyewitness account
A citizen said that on the morning of February 27, he was present at the scene when an Indian plane crashed. “We approached the pilot, he tried to run away, but when we got closer, we saw that his badge was from the Indian Air Force.”
” Soon, the Pakistan Army personnel arrived and arrested the pilot. Citizens said that this moment was a victory for Pakistan’s defense resolve.

The Kashmiri people say that February 27 was a lesson for India. A citizen said that a loud explosion was heard in the morning and after some time the Indian plane was destroyed.
