PM Visits ‘Asan Khidmat’ Center in Azerbaijan

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the ‘Asan Khidmat’ center in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited the ‘Asan Khidmat’ center in Azerbaijan.

The Prime Minister was received by the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovation (SAPSSI) under the supervision of the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Alvi Mahdeev.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister was briefed that Asan Khidmat has become a renowned institution due to its excellent performance in providing effective public services by prioritizing the convenience of citizens.

It is a unique one-stop shop model for facilitating the delivery of public services, which provides citizens with access to more than 400 services

, which are available under one roof by 30 government and 15 private institutions.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif praised its innovative model of public service delivery in the form of ‘Asan Khidmat’, which has set a high standard of services for other countries.

The Prime Minister said that we want to start a pilot project of the ‘Khidmat Markaz’ style in Islamabad

and in this regard, we will benefit from your experiences by signing an agreement with Azerbaijan.

He invited a team of Asan Khidmat to visit Pakistan and explore opportunities for mutual cooperation.

Mr. Alvi Mahdiyev briefed the Prime Minister that this service is a historic initiative of President Ilham Aliyev,

which has been launched as part of comprehensive institutional governance reforms and aims to provide maximum convenience to citizens.

He said that this model ensures transparent, accountable and efficient delivery of public services, in which the satisfactory feedback of citizens plays a very important role for improvement.

The Prime Minister was briefed that ‘Asan Khidmat’ includes specially designed buses and a train,

operating on a pre-determined schedule, which deliver essential public services directly to the local people, thus ensuring inclusion and accessibility for all.

The Prime Minister praised the visionary leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and appreciated this facility for public welfare.

The Prime Minister also visited the ‘InnoLane’ center established to promote startups established in the Khidmat Markaz.
