Mastung: National Highway Blocked for Recovery of Missing Mir Zahoor Ahmed Baloch

A protest sit-in is underway in Mastung under the leadership of Samalani Baloch National Movement Central Chairman and tribal leader Nawab Mir Ahmed Samalani for the recovery of missing Mir Zahoor Ahmed Baloch.

The Quetta-Karachi RCD highway has been closed to all types of traffic at Nawab Hotel Mastung, due to which travelers are facing severe difficulties.

The protesters say that until the missing Zahoor Ahmed Samalani is recovered, the protest will continue and the national highway will remain blocked.

A large number of relatives and tribal elders are participating in the protest, and are demanding immediate action from the authorities.

Appeal to the public to be careful while traveling

The sit-in is affecting the flow of traffic on the Quetta-Karachi highway, and travelers have been instructed to take alternative routes.

The public has been requested to avoid unnecessary travel to avoid any kind of trouble.

The protesters have demanded that the government and law enforcement agencies take immediate steps for the recovery of Mir Zahoor Ahmed Baloch.

They say that the protest will continue until they get justice.

The administration is trying to negotiate to end the sit-in. However, no significant progress has been made yet.

Local authorities say that serious efforts are underway to resolve the matter, while security agencies are on alert to deal with any untoward incident.

The protest is part of an ongoing movement to highlight the issue of missing persons in other areas of Balochistan, including Mastung, which is also being discussed in public and social circles.
