Kashmir Solidarity Day Declared Public Holiday
All scheduled banks and financial institutions, including the State Bank, State Banking Services of Pakistan, will remain completely closed tomorrow due to a public holiday in connection with Kashmeer Solidarity Day.
According to the State Bank’s announcement, Wednesday, February 5, 2025, will remain closed due to a public holiday on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
No financial transactions or economic business of any kind will take place in financial institutions, an official circular has also been issued by the State Bank in this regard.
It should be noted that the federal government had issued a calendar of holidays for the entire year at the beginning of this year, according to which February 5 will also be a federal holiday, due to which all government and semi-government institutions across the country will remain closed.
Along with this, all educational institutions and markets across the country will also remain closed to express solidarity with Kashmir.
In this regard, last week, the Sindh government also declared a public holiday on February 5.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh government, February 5 will be a public holiday in Sindh, like the rest of the country, on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, where government and semi-government institutions will remain closed.
