Four Levies Personnel Martyred In DI Khan Attack
Five people, including four Balochistan Levies personnel, were martyred in the firing of unknown armed men in the Dera Ismail Khan district of KP.
According to sources, a truck was stolen from the limits of the Khanozai area of ​​Pishin on January 13. DI Khan police contacted Levies officials in Pishin and informed them that the stolen truck was in DI Khan.
Balochistan Levies Force personnel were on their way to Dera Ismail Khan yesterday to recover the truck when they were attacked by terrorists near Tehsil Daraban of DI Khan.
The terrorists first opened fire on the vehicle of the Levies personnel, as a result of which all the Balochistan Levies personnel were martyred.
According to Assistant Commissioner Karizat, a Levies Force youth was talking to his family on his mobile phone at the time of the attack.
That is why Levies officials in Pishin received immediate information about the explosion. On the other hand, local police say that the deceased were going to Islamabad in a government vehicle. Investigation into the incident and operations to arrest the accused are underway.
According to Levies officials, the slain personnel were identified as Naib Risaldar Noor Ahmed, Sepoy Rashid Zaman, Sepoy Daud Khan, and Sepoy Bilal Ahmed.
It should be noted that yesterday, security forces killed 13 terrorists in an operation in the Mangochar area of ​​​​Kalat district of Balochistan. Eighteen security forces personnel were martyred during the operation.
