Successful Operation By Security Forces: 30 Khawarij Killed
Security forces killed thirty Khawarij in 3 separate operations in KP.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, three Khawarij were killed by security forces during 3 separate operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on January 24 and 25. An operation was carried out based on intelligence information about the presence of Khawarij in Lakki Marwat.
During this time, security forces effectively targeted Khawarij hideouts and killed 18 Khawarij while six were arrested in injured condition.
The second intelligence operation was carried out in Karak district where eight Khawarij were killed in an exchange of fire. In addition, the third clash took place in Bagh, a general area of ​​​​Khyber district,
where security forces killed four Khawarij. Among those killed in the two-sided firing in Bagh were Khawarij leader Azizur Rehman alias Qari Ismail and Khawarij Mukhlis, while two Khawarij were injured.
According to the ISPR, ammunition and weapons were also recovered from the possession of the slain Khawarij while the slain terrorists were involved in the killing of innocent civilians.
According to the statement, clearance operations are underway to eliminate any remaining Khawarij in the area.
