New Driving License Fees Announced In Punjab
The traffic police have revealed how much fee people will have to pay for car, motorcycle, and rickshaw driving licenses from January 2025.
People wishing to get a motorcycle driving license in Punjab will have to pay a fee of Rs 930 for a one-year license from January 2025, while candidates will also have to pay Rs 50 as a test fee.
Those who want to get a car license for one year will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,830, while they will have to pay Rs 150 as a test fee. Similarly, the fee for a rickshaw license will be Rs 880 and its test fee will be Rs 100.
The things required to get a driving license include a copy of CNIC, 3 passport-sized photographs, a medical certificate, a medical fitness certificate for persons above 50 years of age, an application form, and an original learner permit.
It should be noted that the Punjab Traffic Police is authorized to issue licenses to drivers in the province. Residents of the province must obtain a license before driving any type of vehicle on the road.
The Traffic Department issues licenses to those who pass the practical and road sign tests within a specified time.
