Sikh visitors come to celebrate Guru Nanak’s birthday

Lahore: Around 3,000 Sikh Yatrees (travelers) arrived at Pakistan from India through the Wagah Boundary crossing here on Saturday to take part in the 554th birth commemoration of Sikh religion pioneer Baba Master Nanak Dev Ji.

As indicated by Kashmir Media Administration, Extra Secretary of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) (Sanctuaries) Rana Shahid Saleem, Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Panel (PSGPC) Pardhan Sardar Ameer Singh, council individuals Sardar Satwant Singh, Sardar Rawinder Singh and others heartily invited the explorers.

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Board (SGPC) Amritsar party pioneer Khushmindar Singh told the media on appearance to Pakistan that exceptional love for Pakistanis constrained them to visit the nation over and over.

He reviewed that he had visited the hallowed place that is known for Pakistan multiple times, remarking that offices and courses of action for pioneers worked on without fail. He said that Sikh yatrees were happy with the kickoff of the Kartarpur Passage, adding, “We are thankful to the Pakistan government, especially the ETPB, for making game plans for security of Gurdwaras in Pakistan.”

Extra Secretary (Holy places) Rana Shahid Saleem in his invite address to the visitors referenced that the ETPB had made idiot proof security plans other than convenience and voyaging offices for Sikh pioneers. Unique marquees have likewise been introduced and exceptional transports sorted out for pioneers, he added.

He said officials and workers of the ETPB will stay occupied constantly to serve the visitors, adding that the board was putting forth a hard and fast attempt to work with the travelers.

He said that idiot proof security plans had been made for Sikh travelers, coming from across the globe including India. “We energetically welcome all Sikh explorers coming from across the world with open hearts,” he kept up with.

The PSGPC head, Sardar Ameer Singh, said that he was thankful to his folks for choosing to live in Pakistan at the hour of parcel as the land is like Makkah and Madina for Sikhism.

During the 10-day stay in Pakistan from Nov 25 to Dec 4, the travelers will visit Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal, Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, Gurdwara Dera Sahib Lahore, Gurdwara Rori Sahib Aimenabad and Gurudwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Narowal.
