925 terrorists killed in 59,775 operations during 2024: DG ISPR
DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that the security forces have conducted a total of 59,775 operations this year, in which 925 terrorists, including Khawarij, were killed.
Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that he will discuss the important issues of 2024, especially matters related to national security, the changing regional situation, national defense, internal security and the measures taken in this year regarding counter-terrorism.
He added that he will also discuss the training exercises of the armed forces and the measures taken for the welfare of the people.
He said that the security forces have conducted a total of 59,775 operations this year, in which 925 terrorists, including Khawarij, were killed.
He said that arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists in these intelligence operations.
DG ISPR said that this fight against anti-national terrorists will continue until the last outpost is eliminated, and Pakistan will spare no effort to protect its borders and citizens.
He said that the security forces killed 27 Afghan terrorists in their operations.
DG ISPR further said that more than 179 operations are being conducted by the Pakistan Army, law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and police daily.
He said that during the security operations, the forces successfully eliminated 73 high-value targets, the most wanted terrorists.
He said that during these operations, 383 officers and soldiers sacrificed their lives while fighting bravely.
He said that the Army Chief said that every Pakistani is a soldier in the war against terrorism.
He said that the gaps in governance, the shortcomings and shortcomings in it, we are filling them daily with the sacrifices of our martyrs.
He said that India has violated the border 25 times this year.
He said that the Afghan authorities are being told not to give priority to these foreign terrorists over Pakistan, the life and safety of a Pakistani are priority over Afghanistan, we have constantly said to control these terrorists, and if they do not control them, should we sit and watch the spectacle.
He said that I ask those who propagate double politics that the officials who were martyred, were not the brave soldiers of this country and province.
The DG ISPR said that the back of the Khawarij was broken due to the operation in 2021, and they were running away, my question is who resettled them and made them continue whose decision?
He said that the decisions that we are suffering from are being written by the youth every day with their blood.
He said that if a leader is unable to understand, if a party is bent on imposing its will, then what should be talked to? If every problem was solved through dialogue, there would be no war in the world.
Despite all this situation, if a leader says this while he is incapable of learning from his mistakes and thinks that he knows everything, then the nation pays for such attitudes with its blood and we are paying for it.
