8 Dead in Panjgur Bus–Car Collision

An unfortunate traffic accident occurred in Panjgur district of Balochistan, where a bus and a car collided head-on, sparking a massive fire. At least eight people lost their lives, while one person was injured in the incident. According to police, the accident took place in the Gomazeen Bazaar area when a passenger bus and a speeding car crashed into each other. The collision was so severe that both vehicles immediately caught fire and were engulfed in flames within moments. Levies officials said rescue teams reached the site and shifted the deceased and the injured to the District Teaching Hospital. However, the identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed. The hospital administration declared an emergency to provide urgent medical aid to the injured. Eyewitnesses stated that overspeeding and possible negligence of the driver led to the tragedy. Local administration has launched an investigation to determine the exact cause.
