7 Terrorists Killed In K-P Balochistan Operations: ISPR
Seven Khawarij were killed and two injured during operations conducted by security forces in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Awaran, Dera Bugti, and Kech districts of Balochistan on intelligence inputs.
Operation in Bannu
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on information about the presence of Khawarij.
During the operation, security personnel effectively took action on the Khawarij hideout.
According to the ISPR, three Khawarij were killed in the exchange of fire during the operation, while two were injured. Arms, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered during the operation.
The spokesperson said that the killed Khawarij were involved in several terrorist acts against security forces, including target killings of innocent civilians.
A sanitization operation was also conducted to eliminate any other foreigners found in the area. The security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
Operation in Balochistan
According to the ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Awaran district on information about the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, two terrorists were killed in a fierce exchange of fire. Both the high-value wanted terrorists were identified as Niaz alias Ghuman and Zarif alias Shah Jahan.
A terrorist was killed during another operation in Dera Bugti district, while another terrorist was killed in another operation in Kech district.
The slain terrorists were involved in the killing of innocent civilians along with the security forces. The slain terrorists were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies in several operations.
The security forces are determined to foil attempts to sabotage the peace, stability, and development of Balochistan, alongside the nation.
