7 Terrorists Killed, 6 Soldiers Martyred in Kurram Operation

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against terrorists belonging to the Fitna-e-Khawarij in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing seven militants. During the intense exchange of fire, six brave soldiers, including Captain Nauman Saleem, embraced martyrdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched on credible intelligence regarding the presence of India-backed terrorists in the area. The security forces effectively engaged the militants, eliminating seven of them during the operation.

The martyred soldiers include Captain Nauman Saleem, Havaldar Amjad Ali, Naik Waqas Ahmed, Sepoy Ejaz Ali, Sepoy Muhammad Waleed, and Sepoy Muhammad Shahbaz.

ISPR further stated that a clearance operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. The statement reiterated that under the Vision Azm-e-Istehkam approved by the Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, efforts to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan will continue with full resolve.
