6 Khawarij Militants Killed in Waziristan Ops
Security forces killed 6 Khawarij militants in two separate intelligence-based operations in North and South Waziristan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
5 terrorists were killed during an operation in the Razmak area of North Waziristan, while a wanted terrorist named Zabihullah alias Zakran was killed in South Waziristan.
According to the ISPR, the slain were involved in target killings of security forces and innocent civilians
and were wanted by law enforcement agencies for a long time. The military spokesman said that a sanitization operation is underway in the area to eliminate the terrorists.
The security forces have reiterated their resolve to uproot the scourge of terrorism.
It may be recalled that three days ago, 4 Khawarij militants were killed in a successful intelligence-based operation in Swat. A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of these terrorists.
