A chartered plane left for Sri Lanka to bring back 56 Pakistani prisoners imprisoned in Sri Lanka for many years.
According to the details, 56 Pakistani prisoners imprisoned in Sri Lanka will return home today, on the instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Ministry of Interior has been in contact with the Sri Lankan authorities for the past three months to bring back the prisoners.
Federal Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan will bear all the expenses of repatriation of Pakistani prisoners from Sri Lanka.
The Federal Home Minister thanked the Sri Lankan Government and the High Commissioner for their support for the repatriation of the prisoners.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also thanked Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan for bearing the expenses of returning the prisoners.
It should be noted that on the instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Ministry of Interior was in contact with the Sri Lankan authorities for the past three months to bring back the prisoners.
