Pakistan Army successfully repelled multiple cowardly attacks by Afghan Taliban and the group of Kharijites in the Spin Boldak area of Chaman, killing dozens of militants.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the brutal assault launched by the Afghan Taliban in Spin Boldak was effectively thwarted. Pakistani forces retaliated strongly, eliminating several terrorists.
ISPR reported that on the morning of October 15, the Afghan Taliban launched simultaneous attacks at four different points in Spin Boldak, organized through local dispersed settlements, showing total disregard for civilian lives. Pakistani forces responded effectively and pushed them back.
The Afghan Taliban also destroyed the Pak-Afghan Friendship Gate from their side, which, according to the military spokesperson, reflects their hostile attitude toward regional trade and cross-border cooperation.
During the Pakistani counteroffensive, around 15 to 20 Taliban militants were killed, and several others sustained injuries. The situation remains tense, with reports of additional enemy reinforcements at staging points.
ISPR further stated that this assault was not an isolated incident — the night before, on October 14–15, Afghan Taliban and Kharijites attempted similar border attacks in the Kurram Sector, which were also repelled with force.
In retaliatory strikes, Pakistani forces destroyed 8 posts, including 6 tanks, inflicting heavy losses on the attackers. Estimated 25 to 30 Taliban and Kharijite fighters were neutralized.
The ISPR rejected Afghan Taliban’s claims that Pakistan initiated the aggression, calling it a “blatant and disgraceful lie” and asserting that factual verification exposes the Taliban administration’s propaganda.
The statement reaffirmed that Pakistan Army remains resolute in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity, warning that any aggression will be met with a strong and decisive response.
