47 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Border Clash

Security forces foiled a major infiltration attempt from Afghanistan in the Sambaza area of Balochistan, killing 47 terrorists. Most of the killed terrorists were Afghan nationals attempting to cross the border in large numbers. According to security sources, during the operation, many of the terrorists’ bodies fell back into Afghan territory.

Despite 15 days passing since the incident, Afghan authorities or the families of the deceased did not come to retrieve the bodies. Meanwhile, the bodies remained exposed under the open sky and became prey for scavenging animals. Sources said that finally, on August 25, a jirga was held at the border with Afghan authorities, after which the bodies were transported to Afghanistan on donkeys the following day.

According to security and intelligence agencies, the elimination of such a large number of Fitan-ul-Khawarij militants before any possible terrorist operation is considered a major achievement of Pakistan’s forces and institutions.
