40 civilians, 11 troops martyred in Indian aggression: ISPR
Islamabad: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army has released details of the losses incurred during India’s unprovoked aggression and the retaliatory action of the Pakistani forces in “Battle of Truth”.
On the intervening night of May 6 and 7, Indian forces carried out brutal attacks on the civilian population, targeting children, women, and the elderly.
According to the ISPR, 40 Pakistani civilians were martyred, including 15 children and 7 women, while 121 civilians were injured, including 27 children and 10 women.
The Pakistani forces gave a befitting reply to this cowardly attack under “Operation Banyan Marsus”, which was named “Battle of Truth”.
During this, 11 Pakistani soldiers were martyred while protecting the homeland and 78 were injured.
The martyrs include soldiers of the Army and Pakistan Air Force, whose names the nation will always remember with pride. The ISPR has paid tribute to the martyrs and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Pakistani military has categorically stated that any aggression against the security of the homeland will be met with a full and immediate response.
