30,000 Instructors will be Hired by the Punjab Government for Public Schools

The Punjab government has made the decision to hire 30,000 additional teachers because there was a teacher deficit for the pupils. Official sources from the Punjab Education Department informed the media on Sunday that the job of hiring new teachers has recently been assigned to the Punjab Education Minister by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in an effort to address the teacher shortage and raise educational standards.

According to the reports, the hiring process is underway after seven years. The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) would handle the hiring procedure in stages. According to sources, the hiring procedure will probably be finished in time for 2024’s summer break.

The Punjab government has announced intentions to hire 30,000 additional teachers in order to overcome the teacher shortage in public schools. As per the report, Sikandar Hayat, the Provincial Minister of Education in Punjab, has been assigned the responsibility of finalising the recruitment procedure by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

The Public Service Commission will handle the hiring of subject-matter experts for all subjects, according to the station, with the main goal being to make sure this happens.

46,000 teachers were hired during Shehbaz Sharif’s previous administration. Sikandar Hayat, the provincial minister of education, declared that the hiring procedure will be phased in with the goal of finishing it before the summer break.

Sikandar Hayat, the minister of education, has declared that 30,000 new teachers will be hired during the summer break to work in public schools throughout Punjab.

He stated that hiring new teachers for public schools will happen in stages.

Keeping in mind the requirements of the schools, we want to hire between 20,000 and 30,000 teachers. “We aim to finalise the hiring procedure over the holidays,” he continued.

Summer breaks are scheduled for all of the province’s colleges and institutions, according to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Higher Education Department.

In this regard, a notification has been sent out stating that all of the province’s plains will be closed for holidays from June 15 to August 31.

The announcement indicates that the province’s top districts will be closed for holidays from July 1 to July 31.
