Peshawar: A police mobile came under a bomb attack in the Panyala area of Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in the martyrdom of three police personnel. According to police officials, the blast claimed the lives of ASI Gul Alam, Constable Rafiq, and driver Sakhi Jan, while Constable Azad Shah remained unharmed.
Rescue teams and police officials reached the site immediately after the incident. The bodies of the martyrs were shifted to the hospital, while evidence is being collected from the crime scene. Following the explosion, the DSP Panyala and the SHO also arrived at the location, and the area was cordoned off.
Interior Minister Strongly Condemns the Attack
Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack carried out by the “Khawarij militants” on the police mobile in Dera Ismail Khan. He paid tribute to the three martyred police personnel and expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of ASI Gul Alam, Constable Rafiq, and Sakhi Jan.
He stated that the sacrifices of the brave sons of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police would always be remembered and honored, adding that the nation greatly values the courage and dedication of the KP Police.
