27 Officers Of Grade 20 Of FBR Were Removed From Their Posts

On the order of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, 27 officers of grade 20 were dismissed from the posts while tightening the circle around the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) corrupt, incompetent, and useless officers.

After the approval of the federal budget, 27 FBR grade 20 officers were removed from their posts based on intelligence reports.

According to the report, 16 Inland Revenue Service Grade 20 and 11 officers Customs Group Grade 20 officers were relieved from their posts.

After the Prime Minister’s approval, the FBR also issued a notification to remove the officers from the posts.

According to the notification, Pakistan Customs Group Grade Base Collector Appeals Islamabad Dr. Akhtar Hussain, Muhammad Adnan Ikram Director Transit Trade Lahore, Aram Maqbool Aamir DG Law and Prosecution, Naveed Iqbal Director Transit Trade Gwadar, Ahsan Khan Collector Quetta, Raza Khan Collector Adjudication. Karachi, Umbreen Tarar and Amir Rashid Sheikh have been removed from their posts and their services have been entrusted to FBR admin pool.

According to the notification, Inland Revenue Service Grade 20 Commissioners Qazi Afzal, Naseer Janjua and Zahoor Ahmed were removed from their posts, Commissioners Muhammad Abid, Humira Maryam, Naveed Akhtar, Commissioners Fazli Malik, Noshirwan Khan, Razi-ur-Rehman, Asim Khattak, Khalid Qureshi, Muhammad Ali, Naeem Babar and Zulqarnain were removed from their posts and their services were entrusted to the FBR admin pool.

Earlier, on the orders of the Prime Minister, in April this year, more than 12 officers of grades 21 and 22 were removed from their posts in FBR on corruption charges.
