26 Martyred in Indian Attack, Pakistan Strikes Back Hard
Rawalpindi: DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif has said that India carried out cowardly attacks at 6 different places last night, in which 26 innocent civilians were martyred and 46 were injured.
He said that India launched these attacks on the night of May 6 and 7, in which five people were also martyred on the LoC due to unprovoked firing.
According to DG ISPR, a mosque was targeted near Muzaffarabad, while 13 people were martyred in the attack on the Subhan Allah Mosque in Ahmedpur Sharqia, including 7 women and 2 3-year-old girls.
3 people were also martyred and one was injured in Indian shelling in Muridke.
Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif said that Pakistan’s armed forces have given a befitting reply to India’s aggression and 5 enemy warplanes — including 3 Rafales and 2 MiGs — have been shot down. He said that all aircraft and assets of the Pakistan Air Force are safe.
India’s targeting of the Nausiri Dam of the Neelum-Jhelum project is an extremely dangerous and unacceptable move.
DG ISPR warned that India’s water aggression will have serious consequences.
He said that targeting mosques reflects India’s narrow-mindedness and nefarious intentions, and Pakistan has given an effective response to every Indian aggression.
He said that every misunderstanding of the enemy will be removed soon, and Pakistan is fully capable of giving a befitting reply to the enemy, not only in defense.
