A pickup carrying wedding guests from Kalghali Gidar to Surab met with a tragic accident near Gidar Farm on its return journey, leaving 25 people injured. Among the injured are 5 men, 5 children, and 15 women.
Rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene and shifted the injured to Surab Civil Hospital. According to hospital administration, 5 of the injured, including two women, are in critical condition.
All those critically injured were provided with first aid and later referred to Khuzdar for further medical treatment.
Police have inspected the accident site and begun an investigation. Initial reports suggest that the possible cause of the accident was overspeeding and overtaking.
