The appointment of judges from the Lahore High Court (LHC) to syndicates at 19 public universities in Punjab is a noteworthy move.
Details indicate that Chief Justice LHC Aalia Neelum of Punjab University has been assigned to the syndicate, while Justice Ali Baqar Najafi has become a member of the University of Engineering and Technology syndicate.
At the University of Education, Justice Abid Uzair Sheikh has taken on new duties, while Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan has been sent to the Agriculture University Rawalpindi.
Other prominent appointments include Justices Faisal Zaman at Islamia University Bahawalpur, Justice Shehbaz Ali Rizvi at Bahauddin Zakariya University, and Justices Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry and Abid Masood Naqvi at the University of Law College.
The Department of Law at Government College University Lahore would benefit from the contributions of Justices Chaudhry Iqbal and Risal Hussain Syed to the Board of Studies.
