10,000 Scholarships for Balochistan Youth Revealed
Islamabad: In a meeting of the Central Development Working Party, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal stated that the PML-N government has previously initiated several key educational projects to provide higher education facilities to the youth of Balochistan.
He emphasized the need to create awareness among the people of Balochistan about these projects to counter the conspiracies of terrorist groups operating in the region.
The minister further revealed that from 2013 to 2018, the PML-N government awarded 5,000 scholarships to Balochistan students in the country’s top universities. Additionally, during the PDM government’s tenure, another 5,000 scholarships were provided in Phase II.
He directed the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to immediately formulate a comprehensive and effective strategy to provide educational and development opportunities to the youth of Balochistan, enabling them to contribute to a strong and stable Pakistan.
